Nursing Assistant Jobs - CNA Job

Nursing Assistant jobs can have a variety of job titles and job descriptions.Nursing aides, also known as nursing assistants, geriatric aides, unlicensed assistant personnel, or hospital attendants, perform vital tasks under the direct supervision of the nursing and medical staffs. As the medical industry continues to expand and grow, nursing assistant salaries are expected to remain competitive although not exactly compelling. Nursing aides answer patients service calls, deliver important messages, serve hospital meals, make the patients beds,help patients eat, dress, and bathe. Nursing assistants can also provide skin care to medical patients, take patient temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. A CNA will help patients get in and out of bed and walk. A CNA job may also require escorting patients to operating and examining rooms, keep patients' rooms neat, set up equipment, store and move supplies. Nursing Aides observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any and all changes to the nursing or medical staff.
